My research interests include…

I started teaching in 2011 while in graduate school as a teaching assistant for two Anatomy & Physiology lab sections. I have continued to teach biological sciences, as a college instructor or college tutor, ever since that first teaching experience. This as afforded me both the opportunity to travel and meet some amazing students as well as to continue in my own personal growth in knowledge. I have had the opportunity to learn new teaching styles and assessment methods.
As a community college instructor, I taught several courses including biology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, plant biology, conservation, and zoology. Additionally, some of my classes, viz. biology and plant biology, were taught online using the learning management system Canvas.
