Animal Assisted Therapy Days for students at UCF's College of Medicine
Collaborating with UCF's Counseling and Psychology Center (CAPS), I initiated Animal Assisted Therapy days on UCF's College of Medicine's campus. These sessions are designed to increase student's awareness of new relaxation techniques by offering them direct contact with certified therapy dogs. By presenting an inter-active stress management option, students reported an increased willingness to utilize other Wellness initiatives offered by my office in collaboration with other UCF departments.
