Research

I am passionate about intersecting theoretical and applied research using quantitative and qualitative research methods to benefit organizations and their individuals. A student, practitioner, and educator engaged with groups dedicated to education, business, and/or social justice, I leverage my multi-disciplinary experiences to better understand and address organizational effectiveness and individual accountability. I often focus on a project management frame of reference because of my professional training.

Using Confirmatory and Exploratory Factor Analysis (CFA and EFA) statistical methods, I investigated University Project Management Presence Models and their relationships to an interdisciplinary doctoral Higher Education research framework, drawing from Project Management, Policy Analysis Research, Organizational Theories, and American Higher Education Histories. My Computer Science Master’s research explored the most effective project management software packages in use by professional project managers, while my MBA research considered the relationship of individuals and their sense of personal effectiveness as aligned with the organizational effectiveness of their paid employer as compared to an organization in which they volunteer.

My research interests include…

  • Organizational effectiveness; project management within universities; social sciences research;
